History
The Zenobio family, members of the Venitian nobility, acquired the property in 1666. They restored the house and built the Barchessa (granary).
The Music Pavilion was built in in the late 18th century. In 1783 the last member of the family, Alba Zenobio, married Giovanni Battista Albrizzi.
In the mid-19th century the Albrizzi family redesigned the garden adding several features to it such as bridges, ruins and the iron green house which were inspired by the landscaped gardens of Britain and France. The present architecture of the Villa is the result of late 19th century interventions. The house has been kept in the family through the female line to the present day.
